SOS is a local warehouse that requires volunteers to sort supplies. Classification usually takes place from Monday to Thursday in the morning and every other Saturday of the month in the morning; however, special times can be arranged for groups of volunteers.
Once the donated materials have been thoroughly classified, SOS loads them into containers and ships them to medically impoverished communities to treat underserved patients around the world. They are currently working in seven different countries and partnering with indigenous Christian leaders to offer clean water solutions. At the same time, Christian leaders have the opportunity to build a Christ-centered community in these places. WI focuses on training and equipping these church leaders with affordable education, mental health training, retreats for pastors, help with church planting and prison ministry, as well as helping to empower people to serve better in communities of poverty.
